Booking conditions - Into the North

These booking conditions apply to all tours and activities offered by Into The North in Lofoten. By making a reservation, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted these terms.
1. Booking Confirmation
Your booking is confirmed once you receive written confirmation from Into The North after booking has been received.
Payment will be obligated at the begining of each tour.
At that point, Into The North is responsible for delivering the booked service, and you are financially responsible for the order.
By booking, you confirm that you are authorized to accept these terms on behalf of yourself and any travel companions in your group.
You are responsible for ensuring that all details in the booking are correct and that your travel companions are informed about the booking and any updates.
2. Cancellation Policy
If Into The North cancels a tour due to weather, safety, or unforeseen circumstances, you will receive a full refund.
3. Complaints
Any complaints must be submitted in writing to Into The North within 5 days of the activity.
Complaints submitted after this deadline cannot be considered for financial compensation.
4. Liability
Into The North holds liability insurance as required.
All participants are required to have valid personal travel insurance.
Into The North is not responsible for losses, delays, or additional costs caused by events beyond our control (e.g. strikes, illness, accidents, weather, or other force majeure events).
We are not liable for personal belongings brought on the tour, such as bags, cameras, phones, or clothing.
5. Our Responsibility
Into The North may adjust or cancel tours and programs due to weather or safety concerns.
If a tour is cancelled by us, a full refund will be issued.
The main form of communication will be the email address provided at booking, so please check your inbox regularly for updates.
6. Customer Responsibility
Participants are responsible for ensuring they are physically and mentally fit to join the booked activity.
All participants must follow the safety rules and instructions provided by our guides.
Into The North reserves the right to deny participation or remove participants from a tour if they:
pose a safety risk to themselves or others,
fail to follow guide instructions, or
behave in a way that disrupts or causes discomfort to other participants.
If participation is denied or interrupted due to such circumstances, no refund will be issued.
If a participant chooses to leave a tour early, no refund will be given.
7. Disputes
Any disputes between the customer and Into The North shall be handled under the jurisdiction of local Norwegian courts where Into The North is registered.
