Weather Conditions – Into The North

At Into The North, we know that Lofoten’s Arctic weather and the northern lights are as fascinating as they are unpredictable. For this reason, we kindly ask you not to contact us for long-term weather updates or aurora forecasts. The northern lights can only be predicted a few hours in advance, and clouds often shift quickly in our dynamic climate.

There’s no need to worry about whether your tour is going ahead. During the day, our guides are busy leading other adventures while also monitoring weather conditions carefully. By combining real-time observations with data on wind, humidity, pressure, and our local knowledge of Lofoten’s unique microclimates, we create the most accurate forecast possible.

👉 If you don’t hear from us, your tour will run as planned.

If we need to cancel due to weather, we will notify you by late afternoon, around 17:00. In that case.

Please ensure that you provide a working phone number when booking, so we can reach you if necessary.

Thank you for your understanding – and we look forward to sharing your Lofoten adventure with you!
